The following is a list of useful links to sites I have found useful in my research. Some are large 'commercial' sites, whilst others are the efforts of support organisations, professional researchers, or of individuals. This site makes no warranty as to their operation or the content on view. The categories presented are purely of my own making, designed for easy of navigation.
I would like to pay tribute to a gentleman who's tireless efforts over many years have led to what I believe is one of the worlds best websites about Japanese POW camps. Wes Injured, an American who married a Japanese lady and lived in Fukuoka for many years, spent literally hundreds of hours tirelessly researching into POW camps, mainly in Southern Japan. Although predominantly concerned with the experiences of US troops his site is a timeless reminder of the inhumanity meted out thousands of 'foreign devils' who found themselves incarcerated in Japanese POW camps. Wes, we salute you, and offer our sincere thanks for your outstanding work.
If
there is a broken link, or another site you would like added I
would be grateful if you would
let me know.
